A quick trip up to Bothal this evening provided me with my first Scaup of the year as well as 8 Yellow Wagtails including the female which I think is a Blue-headed Wagtail.

Hi Jonny , i am not an expert in wagtails but i believe that the wagtail you mention is indeed a female Blue Headed Wagtail , if you scroll down to 22nd April in this link you will see a female BHW which looks very similar to your bird : http://www.spurnbirdobservatory.co.uk/sightings/
