Chevingon to Cresswell

The highlight of the morning was a second-winter Glaucous Gull that I found at Chevington on the North Pool this morning, but shortly after I found it, it flew west and appeared to land in a field next to the North Pool. Though after an hour or so it hadn't reappeared and other birders couldn't see it in the field. Also at Chevington were a Jack Snipe, Water Rail, 2 Pintail and 2 Whooper Swans passed over south. A Velvet Scoter also flew north offshore.

Onto Cresswell to look for the reported Black-necked Grebe, which we were onto almost immediately. A couple Scaup and Whooper Swans were also present.
